Tagxedo and Wordle

Page history last edited by Michelle Smith 13 years, 1 month ago

Create a word (tag) cloud to visually represent any text you choose.

  1. This activity is worth 1 point and is a "short" session.
  2. Registration not required at Wordle.  Just click the Create button.  If you choose, you can use Tagxedo instead (more options with actual tags linked to Google search engine).

     3.  Use this tool to-

    • analyze any text
    • create an artistic display of vocabulary words
    • display important concepts
    • design a cloud for anything else you can image (while creating search links at the same time - Tagxedo)

     4. Embed  your word cloud on your Classwork page and include the Unit & Lesson where integrating this tool can enhance instruction.

     5. Add "Wordle" on the Class Roster, so I'll know that you're finished.
